How would I know if I am low-income or not?
Low-income is defined as having an adjusted gross income
(AGI) that is lower than 150% of the poverty levels set by the U.S. Census
Bureau. This number changes with the number of members in your family and
updates every January:

Many low-income students will have a Pell grant in their
financial aid package although this is not a direct indicator. Reach out to
your TRIO department if you have any specific questions about your income
