I've earn the grade "FE" for the Spring 2020 semester. What does this grade mean and how will it affect my GPA?
In light of the difficulties posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, CSM is offered our students the choice of a Pass/Fail option for the Spring 2020 Semester, as an alternative to the traditional grading system. If a student decided to opt into this option, he or she would be awarded the grade of FE ("failure under extraordinary circumstances") instead of a D or an F. Additionally, the decision was made to not calculate these grades into a student's Spring 2020 and also cumulative GPA.
