Can I take a class during the same semester as its prerequisite class?

Prerequisite courses are normally required to be completed before taking the more advanced course to ensure that students are prepared for the material they are expected to learn. If a student wishes to take both courses during the same semester, they will need to receive permission in order to do so. Please speak with an Academic Advisor regarding this process.
