I'm looking to register for classes for the upcoming term. I have already taken the SAT and the ACT. Do I still need to take the placement test?

Response from Ask Me:

If you have already taken the SAT or the ACT within the last two years, you may not need to take the Accuplacer Exam to register for classes. If your scores meet our minimum requirements, you can submit those scores to our Testing Centers to waive the placement exam. You can find information about the placement test and how to submit your SAT/ACT scores at https://www.csmd.edu/studen... . Once you have submitted your scores, you should meet with an Academic Advisor to discuss your next steps to register for courses. You can find information about our Advising Offices at https://www.csmd.edu/studen... .
