I am a previous student from CSM and I need to retake a few classes to bring up my grades from another institution. Do I have to re-apply to take those make-up classes?

Response from Ask Me:

If you wish to retake a few classes to satisfy the needs of your home institution, you will need to speak with the Advising Offices of both your home school and CSM. With your current institution, you will need to make sure you have permission to take and transfer these courses from CSM. With CSM, you will want to let our Academic Advisors know your situation so you can receive the proper help in order to succeed.

Once you know that it is okay to proceed, you will want to consider how long it has been since you last applied at CSM. Applications are good for a period of two (2) years. If it has been less than two years since you last applied, you work with an Academic Advisor to register for your desired class(es). If it has been longer than two years since you last applied or you have graduated from CSM, you will need to submit a new application at https://www.csmd.edu/apply-... . If you have any questions, please contact the Admissions Department at 301-934-2251 option 0 for assistance.
