Who are the Academic Mentors?
New England College’s Mentoring Program is staffed with professionals from a variety of backgrounds and expertise. All Mentors have or are working to complete advanced degrees focused on understanding college-aged students.
Though Academic Mentors are not clinicians, they work collaboratively with professional staff from the Wellness Center and the Office of Student Access and Accommodations, actively referring students to both resources. Students must give permission for Mentors to communicate and collaborate with these offices.
