Will participating in dual enrollment interfere with our high school classes?

Response

Students are encouraged to select dual enrollment courses that do not interfere with your high school classes/schedule. Staff encourage students to consider courses that start 1.5 hours AFTER the end of their high school school period, which will allow you to travel to one of the college locations if you are taking courses on-campus.

Taking classes 1.5 hours AFTER the end of the school day will allow you to end the school day and transition to your college courses or get home and settled.

Students can take classes in the evening, on the weekends and online. There are multiple modalities to take your college courses that should not interfere with your high school engagement.

Students should consider their learning preference and learning style when choosing a course and course times. To learn more about the different types of courses offered, click here: https://www.pgcconline.com/...
