Do you have to be a 10th grader to take the ACCUPLACER?

Response

Rising 11th and 12th graders interested in Dual or Concurrent Enrollment are able to take the Accuplacer for dual enrollment consideration.

PGCPS students: The Accuplacer is administered two times a year (Spring semester - February and Fall semester - September) by Test Coordinators in conjunction with Professional School Counselor. PGCPS students should outreach to their Professional School Counselor for testing information. [Dual Enrollment]

Private, Out-of-State and Homeschool students: Students are able to take the Accuplacer at one of the Prince George's Community College locations (Main Campus-Largo, University Town Center at Hyattsville or Laurel College Center) after completing the designated Enrollment Steps. Concurrent students should outreach to the PGCC Dual Enrollment team before beginning their enrollment to understand the opportunities for testing. [Concurrent Enrollment]

*Currently, the college is operating remotely due to COVID and we are unable to offer the Accuplacer.
