What effect can my grades from dual enrollment have on me in the future?

Response

1. The grades you earn while participating in the Dual Enrollment program are part of your official college record. You are establishing your college GPA and course completion record.
2. Even though current high school students are not eligible to receive financial aid, your performance in college classes now will contribute to your eligibility for financial aid after high school graduation. In order to be eligible for financial aid, you must make satisfactory academic progress (SAP), as demonstrated by GPA and course completion record. Please see the current Prince George’s Community College Academic Catalog for further information on SAP policies (available at www.pgcc.edu).
3. Furthermore, if you are taking courses for dual credit and/or for high school graduation requirements, your grades may impact your high school record and graduation eligibility.
