Can I request a particular roommate(s)?
No. As the housing spaces are so limited, it is not possible to request a
specific suitemate or roommate for 2019-20. UMA will use the questions
on the housing application (https://www.uma.edu/student... 
)
to place students in room assignments with other students who share
similar characteristics. It is for these reasons that it is imperative
new students fill out their own housing application, and should not have
a parent do this for them. It is important that students are as
complete and honest as they can be on the housing application to ensure
that they are matched with a roommate with whom they are able to live
harmoniously.
