What is there to do in the UMA Housing at Stevens Commons?

Response from John McLaughlin:

The Resident Assistants (RAs) and Resident Manager are required to host a number of events and programs for residential students per semester. Most of these programs will occur right in the common area. These programs are based on the needs and desires of each student community, and can be as diverse as the residents in the hall.

Downtown Hallowell boasts a number of vibrant shops, restaurants, and other establishments as well as many community events that students will be able to enjoy. The UMA Office of Student Life (https://www.uma.edu/student... ) regularly hosts events and sponsors activities for students.

Many Hallowell residents also enjoy a peaceful walk or snowshoe in the Vaughan Woods, part of the Vaughan Woods Historic Homestead (http://www.vaughanhomestead... ) – A museum experience connecting people to place, through nature, history & the arts.
