When do final semester course grades come out?
There isn't a single day when all semester course grades get posted. Professors send their respective course student rosters with final course grades to the Registrar's Office, and then the Registrar's Office posts the grades in MaineStreet. The timing of when the professor submits final grades for posting can depend on a variety of factors such as class size, the scope and size of final exams and assignments that must be reviewed and graded, etc. Semester course grades typically begin to get posted in MaineStreet the week after final exam week, and the posting continues from there until all course grades have been posted.
Students can receive a text notification each time a final course grade is posted in MaineStreet by signing up for the Text Messaging Service option located in the bottom right corner of each student's MaineStreet Student Center page.
