I want to take a course next semester and it says I need to be “junior standing.” What does that mean?

Response from John McLaughlin:

Junior standing means you have successfully earned between 60 and 89 credits in your academic program.

Freshman standing = 0-29 credits earned, sophomore standing = 30-59 credits earned, junior standing 60-89 credits earned, senior standing = 90 or more credits earned.
